We were in Baltimore and needed to have seafood before leaving, we saw so many options but Jimmy's seemed the most promising without breaking the bank! We got there on a Sunday at 3pm, we were offered a 30 minute wait for their dining room or a spot at their upstairs bar right away so we went for the bar! It was high top tables and the space was nice, had the vibe of a sports bar. We ordered the crab soup and one crab cake with potatoes on the side. The crab soup was AMAZING, there was so much crab meat without losing the consistency of the bisque which left us impressed - though it did have some shells so beware when eating it -, the small cup was more than enough for the two of us as an appetizer since it was very rich. The crab cake was good but it wasn't the best one I've had, the sauce it came with definitely made it better and it was also enough for the two of us to split plus the potatoes. Overall, it's a solid place.

First time at Jimmys and I'll definitely be back! Got the Nachos, probably best I've ever had. Service was great too!

It had been a while since I last visited Jimmy's Famous Seafood, but I'm so glad I went back! I sat on the restaurant side, in the bar area, and it was such a beautiful space--clean, cozy, and decorated with fun pictures of celebrities who've been there. It gave the place a really cool vibe. The service was amazing--both the waitress and the bartender were so kind and welcoming. We started the night with drinks: I had Prosecco to kick things off and ended with a smooth Manhattan, while my husband enjoyed a classic Old Fashioned that he loved. Now, the food? Absolutely delicious. We started with the octopus appetizer, and it was perfectly cooked--just amazing. For our meals, my daughter went with the wings and couldn't stop talking about how good they were. My husband had a pasta dish with green and red peppers and some fries on the side. I went for "The Boss"--their crab cake with no filler--and it was everything I hoped for. The side of charred broccoli was just as good, with that perfect smoky flavor. Jimmy's Famous Seafood is one of those places that just gets it right--great food, awesome service, and such a nice vibe. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Yep... it's me again and I'm am back at Jimmy's.. how did I get here.. My wife had a craving for seafood lol. Deviled eggs... 9 out of 10..it is a great combination of sweet and savory Crab Cake Egg Rolls... 10 out of 10... I said it once and I will say it again.. these egg rolls hit.. they got all the flavor that you need.. sweet, savory, tangy... I can eat about 2 to 3 plates of these. Add the coleslaw (mind you I hate coleslaw) to the bite and man.. you got a masterpiece of all masterpieces Stuffed shrimp... 9 out of 10... it was good. Flavors complimented one another but wasn't a real wow factor. It was a very enjoyable dish though. To spice it up I would have added another dab of the old bay. The ambiance for a Sunday around noon is pretty chill. It starts picking up around 1pm as brunch goers make their way in. The noise level is not loud and you will be able to have a conversation with those at the table. A word to the wise though. This place will hit your pockets but they do give a good amount of food.

Jimmy's Famous Seafood is a well known destination. I recently visited with friends and had an amazing time while catching a UFC fight. I had the crab balls, which were crispy on the outside and bursting with fresh crab flavor. The sushi was perfect. They definitely had quality seafood. I also enjoyed the oysters which were perfectly baked and rich in flavor. I sipped on a refreshing lemon drop that was simply divine. The parking situation was a breeze, with plenty of spaces available in the lot, making it easy to get in and out. The atmosphere lively. They had a DJ playing music that added to the excitement of the evening. Overall, my experience at Jimmy's Famous Seafood was cool. We sat at the bar and even though we had access to the full menu - the service was poor since the waitresses were all over the place and it didn't feel like we had anyone dedicated to our needs.

Came here during a day trip and did a mini food tour. We didn't want to overeat since we had other places to try, but everything on the menu sounded great! It's a big restaurant, I believe it even has private or semi private dining area. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. Their crabcake was amazing. Full of crab and well worth it. Packed with ample flavor and a each bite was a bite full of crab. The eggrolls were also a favorite of mine. They're huge and very shareable. The sauce was yummy and just one was pretty filling. Glad we stopped by here. Would come back again to try other items on the menu. Definitely bring friend's or plenty of people to share!

Dropped in after a long day working in Baltimore. Sat at the bar and the service was great, wine list was sufficient, but the cream of crab soup took the show!! So good and flavorful. They have a full menu so I'll be back to try more. They have a proper restaurant on one side and a bar/lounge on the other for a more casual vibe. Good place no matter the occasion

My wife and father and I went after a checkup after my cataract surgery at Hopkins. The place is massive and we were seating a high top table along the bar but did not buy drinks. The food is amazing. We had Ahi Tuna, Baja Rockfish, and Blackened Rockfish tacos. They have lots of menu items and even a couple non seafood items. There are a couple menus they hand you so be sure to look ahead online or look through all of them to find what you want at the best price. The prices are reasonable and lower than comparable places in downtown Baltimore. They are also sponsors for the Baltimore Sports teams and do road trips and do bottomless Taylor Swift brunches, the latter is how we learned about them but have not been able to go but would love to go in the future with friends. The service is also fast and great.
